The College endeavors to match international education standards within an atmosphere of democracy, freedom, creativity, equal opportunities, and lifelong interactive learning. It incessantly attempts to ensure fitness of purpose and fitness for purpose, that is doing the right things, and doing the things right. So it continuously surveys its inputs, throughputs and outputs, to make sure that it conforms to the Requirements for Oman System of Quality Assurance (ROSQA), which adopts the quality audit model of Approach-Deployment-Results-Improvement (ADRI). So its education motto propounded is: “Education works…So do our graduates.”
OCMT reiterates its intention and determination to keep on track towards achieving the principle of “offering the best for people who expect the best.”
Performance is envisioned as encompassing the effectiveness of the policies, faculty, processes, outputs and strategy plans adopted. OCMT is fully aware that the accomplishment of its vision, mission and objectives is something relative. Whenever it approaches its goals, or thinks that it does, it begins to revise them in order to move them into further dimensions. Hence the change in form and content of the StrategyPlan 2005–2015 into a more refined plan for the period 2009–2014. The SWOT analysis adopted at OCMT as an integral part of its strategy plan is considered an important measure, as “failing to prepare assuredly means preparing to fail”.
This website introduces OCMT to the public. It also forms a platform for interactive communication among all stakeholders, as well as a means of interactive learning where all learning resources can be easily accessed.
Oman College of Management & Technology (OCMT) has been established to actively participate in the comprehensive national, regional and international development plans through providing quality education. It seeks to provide the community with well-trained manpower capable of contributing to the prosperity of the Omani society and to the development of Oman’s economy.
