OBJECTIVES

This major aims at qualifying students in the basic skills and knowledge of Financial Accounting. Cost Accounting, auditing, Accounting for Taxation, Managerial Accounting, banks & Companies Accounting, Insurance Accounting, and other basic topics required in the local market.

 

 TEACHING METHODOLOGY 

The college provides an applied accounting laboratory to train students to acquire the scientific skills necessary to and adapt quickly to the requirements of the labor market.

 

STUDY PLAN

Students should pass (66) credit hours to get their Diploma and (132) credit hours to get their Bachelors degree in accounting. They study different courses such as: Principles of Accounting, Partnership Companies Accounting, Corporation accounting, Banks & Financial establishments Accounting, Government Establishment Accounting, Cost Accounting, Insurance Accounting, Taxation Accounting, etc.

 

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION     

Due to the importance of English Language for accounting, it is used as the medium of instruction in all College departments.

 

ADMISSION

Students with secondary education certificates (or equivalent) can join this major, according to the terms and conditions outlined in the College Admission Policy.
