Welcome to OCMT Quality Assurance Center (QAC) The QAC supports OCMT in the recognition and enrichment of a variety of quality management practices, quality assurance measures, actions, and quality enhancement initiatives, proposals, plans and schemes that shows the way in the creation of a scholarly community that should be dedicated to the excellence through student centered education, learning and research, that in turn results in the professional practice in the fields of study offered.


The mission of QAC is to supports OCMT for the enhancement of knowledge through mutual, collaborative discovery, integration, application, and teaching practices controlling through quality management application, quality assurance procedures, events, proceedings measures and quality enhancement initiatives.


This comprises support to enhance, improve and develop relationships with students, staff, government, industry, society and community to guarantee our partnerships are mutually respectful, beneficial, valuable and consolidated for a bright, thriving and successful future. The main objective of QAC is to offer a range methods and techniques that refer to where we would like our graduate’s in the future after graduation by providing clear, obvious, plain, logical and understandable measures for the outcomes.


The Self Evaluation Report of OCMT is available for your information. Comments, remarks and impressions regarding the report may be shared with the Dean, Dr. Isam Najib Al -Fuqaha. A Quality Audit Report of the main outcomes and a list of commendations, citations and recommendations is available.


About Quality At OCMT, quality is defined as fitness and strength for purpose. The activities, systems and processes planned and deployed at OCMT shall reveal fitness and robustness for the purpose for which they are relevant. Quality Assurance Centre (QAC) The core document which outlines OCMT’s approach to quality assurance and enhancement is the Quality Assurance Centre (QAC) which was developed by the Board of Directors.


 The QAC provides an institutional approach to planning, development, strategy, reporting, upgrading, enhancement and improvement processes at the governance and administrative levels, and is designed to interface with the operational and functional level quality management systems.


The QAC includes the adoption of the: ? Approach, Development, Results, Improvement (ADRI) model ? Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) model. (ADRI) model: Approach: Move towards the process for defining Development: Develop plans, communicate and put into practice the plan Results: Analyze and Review growth against the plan. Improvement: Recognize prospect for improvement. Plan attained - Regulate the process. Plan not attained - Go back to plan and review. (PDCA) model: Plan Define the process, level, scope and intent. Describe the process and customer expectations. Do Develop strategies, communicate and implement the plan. Check Review progress against the plan. Act Identify opportunities for improvement. Plan achieved - standardize the process. Plan not achieved - return to plan and review. The seven guiding pillars of quality at OCMT that strengthen the QAC are: 1. Leadership and dedication from management. 2. Effective planning processes and allocation of resources. 3. Valuable collection, scrutiny and use of data and information. 4. Creative participation of people in the administration, supervision and management for improvement of the business and other processes. 5. Meeting client needs, both now and upcoming. 6.
