Under the generous sponsorship of Bank Sohar, Oman College of Management and Technology organized an induction and orientation program to welcome newly joined students enrolled at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The program began with a welcome speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Waled Hmedat, Dean of the College, during which he touched on the most important services provided by the Faculty to its students, and urged them to use those services positively. At the end of his speech, he wished them success in their scientific career. After that, Mr. Rashid Al Balushi, Manager of Bank Sohar, Barka branch, gave an introductory overview of Bank Sohar and the services it provides. Then Ms. Hanan Al-Badria, Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Unit at the College, gave a brief overview of the college's accounts on social media, followed by Ms. Fatima Al-Numani, Head of the Technical Support Department, who gave a full presentation on the electronic services provided by the department and the importance of activating them for students. At the end of the program, a field tour was organized, accompanied by the staff of the Student Affairs Department, with the aim of introducing students to the departments and facilities of the college.
