On behalf of Prof. Dr. Waleed Hmedat, Dean of the College, Dr. Hazem Migdady, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, presented the College’s shield to His Excellency the Iranian Ambassador, Dr. Ali Najafi, at the headquarters of the Iranian Embassy in Muscat. And this is in honor of his Excellency and the embassy staff for the efforts and unremitting follow-up for the success of the academic cooperation between the college and the University of Shiraz. The Assistant Dean conveyed greetings and thanks to the Dean of the College, and his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the strenuous efforts made to receive the delegation of outstanding students in the College and to make their scientific visit to Shiraz University a success. The two sides also exchanged cordial conversations that dealt with various topics related to the academic relations between the College of Oman and the academic institutions and research centers in the Iranian Republic. The two sides expressed their keenness to develop and deepen cooperation in all academic fields.
It was attended from the Iranian side by the advanced diplomatic cadre at the embassy, and from the college side, Mr. Saadoun bin Hussein Al-Hamdani, head of the Student Affairs Department.
