The Department of Student Affairs in the college, organized a field trip for Business Administration’s students, to the Areej Company for the manufacture of oils and their derivatives, on Monday, 21st March, 2023, with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of the students in their specializations through field trips and Direct contact with the industry.
Where the students were received upon their arrival by Engineer Fahd Al-Mandhari, who introduced them to the history of the company and its divisions. After that, he accompanied the students on a tour of the various departments in the company, through which the students learned about:
• Stages of processing packages and materials used in their manufacture.
• Types of manufactured oils and countries from which raw materials are imported.
• stages of distillation and production of oils.
• How to treat impurities and odors in the raw material, and get rid of them.
