The honorable colleague Al-Anoud Al-Toubi, Head of the Library Department, participated in the second international conference of the Omani Association for Libraries and Information, which was held under the title: Information Institutions and Digital Content. The conference shed light on some ethical issues in the digital content industry and regulation. It also discussed the role of document centers and archives in supporting and creating digital content, and the opportunities and challenges in the digital content industry. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of Arabic digital content in sustainable development, in addition to presenting the experiences of information institutions in the manufacture and organization of digital content. At the end of the conference, the conferees expressed their thanks to the Omani Association for Libraries and Information for providing the opportunity to participate and attend the conference programs for librarians, specialists and those interested in this field.
