Oman College of Management and Technology, represented by the Marketing and Public Relations Unit, organized a training workshop for Ministry of Housing employees, under the title: Total Quality Management. This comes as an embodiment of the role of partnership between government and private institutions and in line with the future vision of Oman 2040.
The two-day workshop was implemented in coordination with the Committee of community and Industry engagement, and the Department of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the college. And here, the workshop was presented by Dr. Musa bin Muhammad Al Balushi by discussing several pillars, the most important of which are the concept of total quality management, the theory of continuous improvement, the theory of Toyota Corporation (TPS), and the concept of Sigma. He also touched on the European Foundation for Quality Management, And the ISO program, in addition to an extensive and comprehensive explanation of the factors and variables of the quality program and the requirements for achieving them.
At the end of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Waled Hamedat, Dean of the College, honored the organizers of the success of this workshop, namely: Dr. Musa bin Muhammad Al Balushi, presenter of the workshop, and Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Unit, Ms. Hanan bint Abdullah Al-Badriya. The College was also honored by the participants from the Ministry of Housing, and this is due to the keenness shown by the college to provide services that support and develop the community, through the implementation of these programs
