The esteemed college participated in the workshop entitled “Research Efficiency Using the Mendeley Application.” The workshop was held on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the College of Computer Studies at the Arab Open University, Sultanate of Oman branch. The college was attended by Mr. Louay Al-Naimi from the Department of Computer Science and Management Information Systems, and Ms. Noshaba Maryam from the Department of Interior Design.
This initiative represents a vital opportunity to improve the efficiency of researchers, through the use of a powerful reference management tool. The workshop provided the main opportunity for researchers to explore the details of the Mendeley application’s features and functions, thus improving scientific research processes and procedures. Participants were also guided through seamless integration of citation flow and bibliography management, which promoted an organized and coordinated approach to technical writing for scientific research purposes. Furthermore, the workshop addressed advanced techniques for collaborative research efforts, enabling participants to fully utilize Mendeley's capabilities in group projects. By the end of this workshop, participants were able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Mendeley platform, which enabled them to significantly raise the level of their research efforts and scientific
production. This event is considered a pivotal experience, equipping researchers with advanced skills that are essential for success in the academic field.
