رحلة ميدانية لطلبة قسم التصميم الداخلي

نظم قسم التصميم الداخلي بالتعاون مع وحدة التسويق و العلاقات العامة رحلة ميدانية تعليمية لطلبة التصميم الداخلي إلى دار الأوبرا السلطانية. و ذلك بهدف الإجابة على  تساؤلات الطلبة و تعزيز فهمهم لتخصصهم. بالإضافة لإتاحة الفرصة للطلبة للحصول على المعلومات العملية من واقع الميدان.حيث تم استقبال الطلبة والترحيب بهم من قبل فريق دار الأوبرا و تعريفهم بتاريخ ونشأة الدار، و كيفية و مراحل بناء هذا الصرح تحت إشراف حثيث من جانب المرحوم السلطان الراحل جلالة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد المعظم رحمه الله. كما تم تنفيذ جولة لجميع مرافق الدار  وتعريف الطلبة على أنواع المواد المستخدمة  والزخارف المشغولة و التي تم نقشها ونحتها بأيدٍ عُمانية. و كذلك تم التحدث عن نوعية الرخام المستخدم في داخل وخارج الدار  ، و ما يحتويه على خصائص و مواصفات تم اختيارها بدقة و عناية. كما اطلع الطلبة على المسارح وتعريفهم بكيفية تصميمها. بعد ذلك انتقل الطلبة لرؤية المبنى الثاني عبر ممر زجاجي موسيقي متفاعل مع خطوات الزائرين. و  اختتمت الزيارة بجولة داخل مكتبة دار الأوبرا.

Where the students were received and welcomed by the Opera House team and introduced to the history and establishment of the house, and how and the stages of building this edifice under the close supervision of the late Sultan, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may God have mercy on him. A tour of all the facilities of the house was also carried out and the students were introduced to the types of materials used and the ornaments that were engraved and carved by Omani hands. Also the quality of the marble used inside and outside the house was mentioned, and what it contains, features and specifications that were carefully selected. The students were also briefed on theaters and how to design them. After that, the students moved to see the second building through a musical glass walkway interacting with the visitors' footsteps. The visit concluded with a tour of the Opera House library.
