The Training and Career Guidance Office conducted an important workshop titled "Eidaad Student Orientation" presented by Mr. Hamad Al-Hadhrami, the Director of External Training and Development at Oman Oil Development Company. The workshop took place at 11:30 AM today, Thursday, March 7th, 2024, in Auditorium 007 AC, Academic Building.
The "Eidaad Program" is an educational initiative aimed at bridging the gap between industry and academia by establishing a one-year training program. This program enables students to engage in a longer period of practical learning that aligns with the future needs of the industry. Additionally, the Preparation Program provides a platform that facilitates and enhances partnership and intellectual exchange between academic and industrial sectors. This program offers an opportunity for university/college students with one year of valuable experience, which will give graduates an edge when they enter the real world after their studies.
Forty-five students from our college, Oman College of Management and
Technology, participated in the workshop, demonstrating significant engagement.
They interacted extensively with the esteemed lecturer, Mr. Hamad Al-Hadhrami,
Director of External Training and Development at Oman Oil Development Company.
