Oman College of Management and Technology, through the Student
Affairs Department, participated in the activities of the annual forum
of the Student Counseling Center in its fifth edition, whose topic was
“Psychological counseling services supporting youth,” which was
organized by Sultan Qaboos University under the patronage of Mrs. Maani
bint Abdullah Al Busaidiyah - Director General of Development. Family
social worker at the Ministry of Social Development, and Chair of the
Child Protection Committee, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. The forum
hosted two important sessions, each of which included the presentation
of three scientific papers that addressed the forum’s topics and
objectives in depth and detail. Other prominent bodies also
participated, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of
Culture, Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of
Social Development, which added great value to the forum. This event
contributed to enhancing communication and effective exchange between
the relevant government agencies, and enhancing awareness of the
importance of guidance services for youth and students in achieving
their academic and professional successes.
