The college participated in the first youth forum at the Arab Open University entitled “Future Skills and the Labor Market.” The forum aims to establish an annual forum for the younger generation, with the participation of students and graduates, to discuss development issues related to the knowledge society. During the forum, ideas, solutions and innovations were presented in a creative manner consistent with the National Vision of Oman 2040 and the future requirements of the nation. Emphasis was also placed on contributing to achieving the 2030 sustainable development goals in the Sultanate of Oman. It included discussions of development issues related to the younger generation and presenting appropriate solutions and proposals for them, in addition to the participation of the public and private sectors and civil society in addressing the basic issues related to the younger generation, empowering them and providing them with a set of future skills that suit the requirements of the labor market and jobs of the future.
is worth noting that the group of students and graduates participating
in the forum from our college presented their graduation projects
completed within the academic environment of our college, which aroused
