The college, represented by Ms. Ruwaiya ALRabaani & Ms. Fatima ALSiyabi from the Alumni Club, participated in the Forum of Alumni Associations of GCC Universities during the opening of the nineteenth season titled "Digital Transformations and the Labor Market," under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Saleh Bin Dhiyab AL Rubaie, the governor of Nizwa, on Tuesday, Feb 6, 2024. The forum included several enriching dialogue sessions, during which fifteen working papers were presented. These papers highlighted the most prominent challenges facing Alumni Associations in GCC Universities and discussed methods of communicating with alumni and providing them with necessary skills to meet labor market requirements.
The forum produced the following recommendations:
- Creating a digital environment for alumni associations of GCC universities.
- Employing AI programs to equip alumni with the necessary skills to meet labor market requirements.
- Forming joint committees to enhance communication and interaction between alumni and employers to identify labor market needs.
- Organizing periodic forums for alumni associations of GCC Universities to exchange experiences and learn from the experiences of Gulf countries in improving the quality of the labor market and engaging alumni.
