The Training and Career Guidance Office organized a lecture entitled: “Edad”, which was presented by Mr. Hamad Al-Hadrami, on Tuesday 11-04-2023 in the main auditorium in the college. The awareness lecture was attended by 75 students who showed great interest in the lecture and the program because of its importance in closing the gap between academic study and the real needs of the labor market. In this context, Mr. Hamad Al-Hadhrami stated that "Edad" is an educational initiative that aims to reduce and bridge the gap between the needs of the labor market on the one hand, and academic outputs on the other, by establishing a training program that lasts for one academic year to enable Students are able to engage in applied learning in line with future industry needs. The “Edad” initiative also provides a platform that facilitates and enhances partnership and intellectual exchange between the academic community and the labor market, which would give graduates an additional advantage in their job search journey.
